Read the full guideMost patients arrive naming a procedure they have read about, when the more useful starting point is naming the problem. There are four underlying problems in body and facial aesthetics, and each points to a different family of operations.
Pinch the area. If the skin snaps back and the bulge is firm underneath, the issue is fat volume. Liposuction is the answer, and it will hold well. This is the most common presentation in patients under about forty who train regularly but have a stubborn deposit.
If a fold of skin stays lifted when you release it, no amount of fat removal will fix it. Loose skin must be excised, which means a tummy tuck for the abdomen or a lift for the arms, thighs or breasts. Liposuction alone in this situation makes the laxity look worse.
Separated abdominal muscles after pregnancy, glandular tissue in the male chest, a dorsal hump on the nose, a deviated septum. These are anatomical structures, and no non-surgical treatment removes or repositions them. Gynecomastia surgery and rhinoplasty both fall in this category.
Deflation after pregnancy and breastfeeding, or thinning hair. Volume is restored by adding something: an implant, your own fat, or transplanted follicles. Breast surgery and hair transplantation both work this way, and both need the underlying support assessed first.
Post-pregnancy patients very often have all four at once: fat, loose skin, muscle separation and lost breast volume. That is exactly what a mommy makeover addresses, combining the components you need into a single planned operation and a single recovery.

"I met four surgeons in Gurgaon before choosing Dr. Khare. He was the only one who told me which areas would not respond well and why. Six months on, the abdomen and flanks are flat and the scars are invisible. No sales pressure at any point."
"After two pregnancies I had loose skin and muscle separation that no amount of Pilates could fix. Dr. Khare explained exactly what a tummy tuck could and could not do. I was back at my desk in twelve days and I finally feel like myself again."
"I lived with this since school and put it off for fifteen years. The surgery took two hours, I went home the same evening and was back in the gym in three weeks. Genuinely wish I had done it a decade ago."
"What I liked most was that he refused to give me the nose I showed him on my phone, and explained what would actually suit my face. The result looks like me, not like surgery. Breathing is better too."
"The hairline was designed for my age instead of the teenage look people end up with. Dr. Khare did the slits himself. At month nine the density is exactly what the plan promised."
"Years of back and shoulder pain, gone. The consult was unhurried and every cost was itemised in writing before I paid anything. The nursing team checked on me every day of the first week."
It depends on whether your concern is fat, loose skin, muscle separation or volume. Firm fat with tight skin responds to liposuction. Loose skin needs excision, which means a tummy tuck, arm lift or breast lift. Muscle separation after pregnancy needs surgical repair. Most patients arrive with an assumption about which procedure they need and leave the consultation with a different, more accurate answer.
Often yes, and it usually makes sense: one anaesthetic, one theatre cost, one recovery. The limit is total operating time. Beyond roughly six hours the risks of blood loss and thrombosis rise appreciably, so longer plans are staged instead. Dr. Khare will tell you which combinations are safe in your case.
Forty minutes. That covers your history, examination, photographs and measurements, a discussion of realistic outcomes with the alternatives, the risks specific to you, and an itemised written quote. You are not asked to decide on the day.
Yes, and it is a substantial part of the practice. Revision cases are technically harder because scar tissue is unpredictable, and Dr. Khare will tell you honestly whether a revision would give a meaningful improvement or only a modest one. A minimum of twelve months should pass after the original surgery.
Where they genuinely work, yes. Fillers, medical hair therapy and skin treatments are offered when they are the right answer. They are not offered as a substitute for surgery in cases where surgery is what the problem needs, which is a common pattern in clinics that sell packages rather than treatments.
For most body-contouring surgery, eighteen with completed growth and a stable weight. Rhinoplasty requires completed facial growth, broadly sixteen for girls and seventeen to eighteen for boys. Gynecomastia surgery in adolescents is generally deferred for at least a year, since a proportion resolves on its own.
Bring the problem, not the procedure name. Dr. Khare will examine you and tell you which operation, if any, actually addresses it.
