Abdomen & Flanks — VASER Liposuction
Male, 34 · 4.2 L aspirate · photographed at 6 months
A planned combination of tummy tuck, liposuction and breast surgery in a single anaesthetic, so post-pregnancy restoration happens once rather than across three separate recoveries. Performed by Dr. Ashish Khare with a one to two night stay.
A mommy makeover is not a fixed package. It is a combination assembled around what pregnancy and breastfeeding changed in your particular case. The three components most often included are abdominoplasty with muscle repair, liposuction of the flanks and thighs, and a breast lift with or without an implant.
Some patients need only two of the three. Others add an arm lift or a thigh lift. The plan is built at the consultation from examination, not from a menu, and the components you do not need are left out rather than sold to you.
Three separate operations mean three anaesthetics, three sets of theatre and hospital charges, and three separate recovery periods away from work and away from your children. Combining them into one planned session means a single anaesthetic and a single recovery window, which for most mothers is the deciding practical factor.
It also produces a better aesthetic result. The abdomen, waist and breasts are judged together as a silhouette, and operating on them in one sitting lets the surgeon balance proportions directly rather than working around a previously altered area.
Combination surgery is safe when total operating time is controlled and the patient is medically fit. Beyond roughly six hours, the risks of blood loss, temperature loss and venous thrombosis rise appreciably. Dr. Khare will recommend staging where the combined plan is too long, or where a health factor makes a shorter anaesthetic wiser.
The logistics matter as much as the surgery. Lifting is restricted to five kilograms for four weeks and a toddler for six, which is the single biggest practical constraint for mothers of young children.
The clinic asks you to arrange help at home for at least the first two weeks before a date is confirmed. School runs, night feeds and picking up a small child all need to be covered by someone else in that window. Patients who plan this properly recover measurably more comfortably than those who improvise.
Wait at least six months after you stop breastfeeding before breast surgery, so the tissue has settled to its final volume and shape. For the abdomen, wait until your weight has been stable for six months.
Most importantly, a mommy makeover should follow your last pregnancy, not precede one. A subsequent pregnancy stretches the skin again and can undo the muscle repair, which means repeating the operation. There is no medical harm in a pregnancy afterwards, but the aesthetic result will not survive it intact.
Every mommy makeover case at this clinic is planned, marked, operated and reviewed personally by Dr. Ashish Khare, MCh Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, in an NABH-accredited theatre with a consultant anaesthetist present throughout.
Indicative brackets only. Your written, itemised quote is issued after examination and does not change afterwards.
Surgeon fee, consultant anaesthetist, operating theatre, standard consumables, compression garments where applicable, medication for the first week, and all follow-up consultations for twelve months. Nothing is added afterwards. Zero-cost EMI is available on approved cards.

"I met four surgeons in Gurgaon before choosing Dr. Khare. He was the only one who told me which areas would not respond well and why. Six months on, the abdomen and flanks are flat and the scars are invisible. No sales pressure at any point."
"After two pregnancies I had loose skin and muscle separation that no amount of Pilates could fix. Dr. Khare explained exactly what a tummy tuck could and could not do. I was back at my desk in twelve days and I finally feel like myself again."
"I lived with this since school and put it off for fifteen years. The surgery took two hours, I went home the same evening and was back in the gym in three weeks. Genuinely wish I had done it a decade ago."
"What I liked most was that he refused to give me the nose I showed him on my phone, and explained what would actually suit my face. The result looks like me, not like surgery. Breathing is better too."
"The hairline was designed for my age instead of the teenage look people end up with. Dr. Khare did the slits himself. At month nine the density is exactly what the plan promised."
"Years of back and shoulder pain, gone. The consult was unhurried and every cost was itemised in writing before I paid anything. The nursing team checked on me every day of the first week."
A mommy makeover in Gurgaon costs between ₹2,50,000 and ₹5,00,000 depending on how many components are combined. Two components typically run ₹2,50,000 to ₹3,40,000, and a three-component makeover with implants ₹3,50,000 to ₹4,40,000. The quote includes surgeon fee, anaesthesia, theatre, one to two nights’ stay, garments, drains and a year of follow-up.
Yes, within limits. The key safety variables are total operating time, blood loss and the patient’s fitness. Keeping the combined operation under about six hours, using compression and early mobilisation, and operating only on medically optimised patients keeps combination surgery as safe as staged surgery for most people.
Six weeks. Lifting above five kilograms is restricted for four weeks and a small child for six, because both strain the abdominal muscle repair. Arranging help at home for this period is a condition of scheduling surgery here.
At least six months after you finish breastfeeding, and with a stable weight for six months. Surgery before then risks operating on tissue that is still changing, and the result will not hold.
It is better to wait. Another pregnancy stretches the skin and can separate the repaired muscles again, which means a revision. Nothing about the surgery makes a later pregnancy unsafe, but the aesthetic result will be lost.
Yes, one to two nights depending on the combination. This is not a day-care procedure, and any clinic offering a full mommy makeover as same-day discharge should be questioned closely.
