Board-certified plastic and cosmetic surgery in Gurgaon, performed personally by Dr. Ashish Khare in NABH-accredited theatres. Liposuction, tummy tuck, gynecomastia, rhinoplasty, breast surgery and hair transplant, planned around your anatomy and your life, with an itemised quote before you commit to anything.
Choosing a plastic surgeon is not a search-ranking decision. It is a decision about who will hold the cannula, who will be in the room if something needs judgement, and who will still be answering your questions nine months later. Dr. Ashish Khare built his Gurgaon practice on exactly that: one surgeon, from first consultation to final follow-up, with nothing delegated to a counsellor or a junior.
He completed his MCh in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the highest surgical super-speciality qualification available in India, and has spent more than twenty years across aesthetic and reconstructive work. That reconstructive grounding matters more than most patients realise: surgeons trained to rebuild tissue after trauma and cancer tend to be conservative, technically careful, and honest about what surgery cannot fix.

Read the full guideGurgaon has more cosmetic clinics per square kilometre than almost any city in India, and the marketing is loud. Advertised awards are frequently paid placements, and a first-page listing tells you about a clinic's budget, not its surgical outcomes. These are the checks that genuinely separate one surgeon from another, and you can complete all five in an afternoon.
In India, "cosmetologist", "aesthetic physician" and "cosmetic surgeon" are unprotected descriptions. The qualification that matters is an MCh or DNB in Plastic Surgery, a super-speciality earned after MBBS and a general surgery residency. Ask for the registration number and check it yourself on the National Medical Commission register. Any surgeon confident in their training will hand it over without hesitation.
Volume in the exact operation you want is the strongest available proxy for skill. A surgeon doing eight to ten liposuction cases a month has seen the complications, the difficult anatomy and the revisions. One doing two a year has not. Ask the number directly, and ask what proportion were revisions of another surgeon's work.
Before-and-after photographs should be taken in the same lighting, the same pose and the same distance, with faces cropped rather than blurred into abstraction. Be wary of stock imagery, results credited to "our team", and galleries with no time interval stated. Ask specifically to see a result at nine to twelve months, not six weeks, because early swelling flatters every outcome.
The clinic you consult in is not always the theatre you are operated in. Ask for the name of the facility, whether it is NABH-accredited or hospital-attached, whether a qualified anaesthetist is present throughout, and what happens if you need overnight monitoring. Ambulatory cosmetic surgery is very safe in a properly equipped setting and genuinely risky outside one.
The most reliable signal in the whole process is a surgeon telling you no. No to an unrealistic request, no to operating on a body-mass index that raises the risk, no to combining four procedures because it is convenient, no to a nose you brought in on your phone. A practice that sells everything to everyone is selling, not treating.
No surgeon can be objectively crowned "the best plastic surgeon in Gurgaon", and any clinic claiming an official title should be treated with caution. What you can establish objectively is qualification, case volume, accreditation of the operating facility, and the quality of documented results. Judge on those four.
My job in the first consultation is to work out whether surgery is the right answer at all. About one in six people who walk in are better served by not operating, and telling them so is part of the work.

"I met four surgeons in Gurgaon before choosing Dr. Khare. He was the only one who told me which areas would not respond well and why. Six months on, the abdomen and flanks are flat and the scars are invisible. No sales pressure at any point."
"After two pregnancies I had loose skin and muscle separation that no amount of Pilates could fix. Dr. Khare explained exactly what a tummy tuck could and could not do. I was back at my desk in twelve days and I finally feel like myself again."
"I lived with this since school and put it off for fifteen years. The surgery took two hours, I went home the same evening and was back in the gym in three weeks. Genuinely wish I had done it a decade ago."
"What I liked most was that he refused to give me the nose I showed him on my phone, and explained what would actually suit my face. The result looks like me, not like surgery. Breathing is better too."
"The hairline was designed for my age instead of the teenage look people end up with. Dr. Khare did the slits himself. At month nine the density is exactly what the plan promised."
"Years of back and shoulder pain, gone. The consult was unhurried and every cost was itemised in writing before I paid anything. The nursing team checked on me every day of the first week."

VASER ultrasound, power-assisted liposuction and DHI grafting are used where they demonstrably help, not as marketing labels attached to every case.

Appointment-only slots, discreet entry, and photographs used publicly only with specific written consent that you can withdraw at any time.
Indicative all-inclusive ranges. Your written quote is finalised only after examination, because area count, tissue quality and technique all change the number.

There is no official ranking, so "best" should mean best qualified and best matched to your procedure. Judge any surgeon in Gurgaon on four checks: an MCh or DNB in Plastic Surgery verifiable on the National Medical Commission register, at least a few hundred documented cases of your specific procedure, an accredited operating theatre with a qualified anaesthetist, and unedited before-and-after photographs of their own patients. Dr. Ashish Khare holds an MCh in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, has performed more than 8,500 aesthetic and reconstructive procedures over 20 years, and operates only in NABH-accredited theatres in Gurgaon.
Cosmetic surgery in Gurgaon ranges from about ₹45,000 for a small hair transplant session to ₹5,00,000 for a full mommy makeover. Liposuction typically runs ₹95,000 to ₹3,50,000 depending on the number of areas, gynecomastia surgery ₹65,000 to ₹1,50,000, and rhinoplasty ₹1,10,000 to ₹2,75,000. Every quote from this clinic is itemised in writing and includes surgeon fee, anaesthesia, theatre charges, implants or consumables, compression garments and all follow-up visits.
Yes. Dr. Khare holds an MCh in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the highest surgical super-speciality qualification in India, and is registered with the National Medical Commission. He is a member of the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India. You are welcome to verify his registration number on the NMC online register before your consultation, and the clinic will provide it on request.
You meet Dr. Khare himself. Every consultation, surgical marking, operation and follow-up review is done personally by him. Many large chain clinics in Delhi NCR route the first visit to a sales counsellor and only introduce the operating surgeon on the day of surgery. That does not happen here, and it is one of the most useful questions to ask any clinic you are considering.
It depends on the procedure. Liposuction and gynecomastia surgery are day-care operations with most desk-based professionals back at work in three to five days. Rhinoplasty needs seven to ten days until the splint comes off. A tummy tuck or mommy makeover needs ten to twenty-one days. Swelling settles gradually and final results are usually assessed at three to six months.
Zero-cost EMI is available on approved credit cards and through finance partners for most elective procedures. Purely cosmetic surgery is not covered by health insurance in India. However, functionally indicated surgery such as septal correction during rhinoplasty, breast reduction for documented back pain, or post-trauma and post-cancer reconstruction may be partly claimable, and the clinic will help prepare the documentation.
Yes. Roughly a third of patients travel from Delhi, Noida, Faridabad and further afield, plus NRI patients from the Gulf, the UK and the US. Video consultation is offered for the first assessment, pre-operative tests can be done locally, and the clinic helps coordinate hotel stays near Cyber Hub for the recovery window.
Ask three questions before you book. First, is the operating theatre NABH-accredited or attached to a licensed hospital, rather than a converted room in a salon or clinic. Second, is a qualified anaesthetist present for the entire procedure. Third, what is the written protocol if a complication occurs overnight. A clinic that answers all three clearly and in writing is a clinic worth trusting.
A 40-minute assessment covering your goals, your anatomy, the realistic outcome, the risks specific to you, and a written itemised quote. Video consultation available for outstation and NRI patients.
Talk to a board-certified plastic surgeon in Gurgaon who will tell you honestly what surgery can achieve for you, and when it is not the answer.
